Hi Kuldeep,
I can't reproduce your problem with my current (about to be released) version. Would you please get a pre-release version -- 7137 -- and try it for me.
Here's the output I get when I edit your inlist to turn diffusion on.
chi2_radial > chi2_radial_limit 1339 133.44 100.00
failed to find all required l=0 modes 1339
chi2_radial > chi2_radial_limit 1340 114.54 100.00
failed to find all required l=0 modes 1340
chi^2 total, chi^2 radial 1341 119.08 99.92
chi^2 total, chi^2 radial 1342 108.15 91.18
chi^2 total, chi^2 radial 1343 97.55 83.87
chi^2 total, chi^2 radial 1344 89.43 79.83
chi^2 total, chi^2 radial 1345 84.59 79.59
chi^2 total, chi^2 radial 1346 83.87 84.96
chi^2 total, chi^2 radial 1347 84.87 90.37
chi^2 total, chi^2 radial 1348 88.02 98.21
chi2_radial > chi2_radial_limit 1349 109.96 100.00
failed to find all required l=0 modes 1349
chi2_radial > chi2_radial_limit 1350 128.57 100.00
failed to find all required l=0 modes 1350
save photos/x350 for model 1350
chi2_radial > chi2_radial_limit 1351 148.01 100.00
failed to find all required l=0 modes 1351
chi2_radial > chi2_radial_limit 1352 175.68 100.00
failed to find all required l=0 modes 1352
have reached too many bad chi2 limit
Thanks,
Bill

I did it by copying the diffusion parameters from the solar calibration test case, and it worked fine in the past. Recently, I found a very strange behavior at the evolutionary stage where model becomes good enough (chi2_radial < chi2_radial_limit) to calculate the non-radial oscillation frequencies.

However when I include diffusion, the chi2_radial shoot up to a very high value after going one step back and never reaches to small enough chi2_radial to calculate the non-radial oscillation frequencies.

You have to just overwrite the inlists in the test case example_astero with the attached insists. Evolve the star twice, with and without diffusion. Thanks a lot in advance for any help.
