the message is that the documentation is getting better, but it is a big task.
and there is no test_suite for it other than users finding mistakes and reporting them.
as a mesa user, that means you need to be an intelligent reader of the
documentation as well as an intelligent user of the code. be on the
lookout for bugs in documentation as well as in code. don't use mesa
as a "black box". if you get unexpected results, dig in to find out what's going on.
if you think mesa is easy to use, you don't understand how to use it!
mesa doesn't make a hard task easy.
at best it makes it possible for you to take on a hard task that you wouldn't have tried without it.
at worst it makes it possible for you to take on a task and get results without understanding.
mesa is just a tool. it is up to you to provide the intelligence.
