Hi, MESA!
I have a question I hope you can help me with: I'm trying to determine the
total amount (by mass or by number - doesn't matter) of an isotope
enclosed between two mass coordinates. I'm a bit confused on how to do
this, however.
Initially, I went into the default file for profiles and found that it had
something called "star_mass_o16" for the isotopes, which it described as
"information about total mass". I tried plotting it, but got a black
screen in the pgstar output. Looking more closely, I saw that it was in
the section called "! the first few lines of the profile contain general
info about the model.! for completeness, those items are described here.".
Thus, I am now not even sure that it CAN be plotted.
In any case, I'd appreciate your help with how to solve the main problem
which is, again, to determine the total amount of an isotope enclosed
between two mass coordinates.
Sasha
