[mesa-users] unsmoothed element abundance for MESA version of 6208

Hi Pablo Marchant,
    
      I'm so sorry that I do not give an accurate description for this phenomenon. The abnormal composition profile appear at the position of thermonuclear reaction zone and  vary with the stellar evolution. I ploted two panels --- 'a.png' and 'b.png' -- which represent the main sequence stars and stars on the bottom of red giant branch, respectively. You can find them in attachmrnt.

Tao Wu, what do you mean by "unsmoothed phenomenon"? smooth_convective_bdy is meant to smooth newly non-convective regions, so is that what is failing, and you are seeing a composition profile with several steps?

Some plots would be helpful, and also a description of what you would consider a correct result.

I used the version of 6208 to calculated the stellar evolution with 1Msun masses and 0.02 metallicity and encountered a problem that the abundance of hydrogen varying with masses shows an unsmoothed phenomenon.
