As has been said previously c12_o16 is not the carbon core mass. If you
look in the $MESA_DIR/star/defualts/history_columns.list you'll see that it
is in fact the:
 log10 total luminosity for reaction categories (Lsun units)

The carbon core mas is c_core_mass but that will return the total mass of
the star in this case, as its defined as the total mass where carbon
abundance is greater than some small number.

You need to think about what is it you actually want?

The total amount of carbon and the total amount of oxygen? Just integrate
the curves in plot 1 (not sure why plot 1 doesn't go all the way to 0 mass?)

The mass of the carbon/oxygen core? For a WD that's the total mass of the
star as plot 1 shows all you have is carbon and oxygen

Whether the results here are what you expect for a WD is a physics problem
for you to solve, try searching the literature or find an astrophysics
textbook or run other WD  models with
different parameters and see what happens.
