Hi Amber,

That is indeed an obsolete option. A little over a year ago, pgstar went through a major overhaul and is now much more customizable, but the main window was a casualty. Check out the new options in $MESA_DIR/star/defaults/pgstar.README, $MESA_DIR/star/defaults/pgstar.defaults,and the excellent video series by Frank Timmes on using pgstar here:

To be clear, the MAIN window is NOT another window. It's simply gone as far as I can tell. You can get pieces of it back through things like Grid1 and some of the profile summaries/panels. Or you could go through the exercise of reconstructing the old main window as a custom grid!
