Thanks for this email. 

The most useful file to look at is " default_settings". There you can find the lines

# Widows position and size

window_position_x=50
window_position_y=30

window_size_x=1500
window_size_y=1000


which you can use to fix the default size and position of your window. 

In addition, you can set use_default_path=True and the program will automatically look at the data in the folder specified by the variable default_path, without opening the file manager window. 

It would be great to open another path directly from the menu, as you suggest. Probably something to think for the future versions.

I just installed the new version and ran some plots.  Thanks for the tool.  I have two suggestions that popped up right away.

1.  The window is too wide for my Macbook screen, it would be nice if there were a way to set that from a menu.  I assume there is some setting in one of the files which might allow this, but I have not searched for it yet.

2.  It would be nice to open a different data path from the menu instead of having to restart.
