Furthermore, the wiggles seem to unimpressed when modifying:
set_HELM_OPAL_lgTs = .true.
logT_all_HELM = 6.1d0 ! HELM for lgT >= this
logT_all_OPAL = 6.0d0 ! OPAL/SCVH for lgT <= this
see file: M010Z02_Useq_alphamesh0_5_EoSSwitch60To61.pdf
and
logT_all_HELM = 7.1d0 ! HELM for lgT >= this
logT_all_OPAL = 7.0d0 ! OPAL/SCVH for lgT <= this
see file: M010Z02_Useq_alphamesh0_5_EoSSwitch70To71.pdf
Despite the central regions of the diagram (particularly well seen by
the red dots, which show the U-values on the computational grid) being
computed with different EoS, the point distribution looks essentially
equal.
Hence, different EoS treatments seem to be fine, i.e. leading to robust
results. That is something to build on! But I guess the next steps will
have to wait till tomorrow.
Regards, Alfred
