[mesa-users] svn download error

Hi all,

I'm trying to help a student install MESA and we're running into an svn error I've not seen before. First off, we're using a Macbook Pro with Mac OS X 10.8.5. Xcode 5 and the command line tools are installed (we tried this before on OS X 10.6.8 and had the same problem, though).

When attempting to execute the line:

svn co -r 5527 svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/mesa/code/trunk mesa

in the home directory, we get the following error

svn: E00061: Can't connect to host 'svn.code.sf.net': Connection refused

Some background: the svn download was attempted earlier and started off fine, but then the internet connection unexpectedly terminated. After some failed attempts at restarting that checkout that resulted in a system freeze, the first mesa directory was deleted and a fresh checkout was attempted, but this error has occurred every time. Any thoughts on what might be causing this refusal of service?

Thanks for your help!

Regards,

Bill
