Hi Radek,

I don't feel motivated to take it on myself.   It is a complicated approach that doesn't appear to fit in well with the current mesa/star architecture.  If the astro community had picked it up in the years since 1985, I'd have no choice but to do it.  That didn't happen, and there are new things on the horizon that are much more interesting to me (Pascale Garaud's work for example, and, of course, the 321D efforts of Dave Arnett and friends).   I'm working hard to find ways to let mesa incorporate those new ideas, so, with all due respect, I'm not willing to take time from that to work on adding the Castellani scheme to mesa as an alternative to the Langer scheme we already have.

My advice for you would be to play with the mesh functions in mesa to get high resolution at the convection zone boundaries.   I'll be glad to help you with that.
