[mesa-users] Problem with stellar winds during mass transfer

Hi,

I've been running binary systems with rotation, and I've noticed a problem
with the way that the winds and mass transfer function. During mass
transfer, the wind and accretion components of mdot appear to not be
treated separately. This leads to a rotational boost of mass loss not
behaving well during mass transfer, since the accretion effectively
overrides any wind loss effects. This then leads to the secondary star
being spun up to speeds that are not reasonable (omega/omega_crit > 1)
since the secondary star can't eject any mass or angular momentum. Looking
at the code in winds.f it seems that if accretion is greater than the wind
loss then wind loss is completely ignored. Is there a way to work around
this?
