[mesa-users] binary run with point mass taking tiny timesteps

I'm working with a binary run with a 0.4Msun helium star and a 0.6Msun
point mass.  If I start with a small orbital period, say 20-40 minutes, the
helium star doesn't have much time to evolve and it runs fine.  When I
start with longer orbital periods, say 80-100 minutes, the helium has some
time to do some core burning and build up some compositional gradients.
 When RLOF exposes these gradients at the core-boundary, MESA starts taking
very small timesteps and does not recover.  The mdot is also changing
rapidly.

I'm using the implicit controls, and have tried different overflow
tolerances, but none seem to work.
