Very sorry for my poor expression.
I means when write out the mixing_type of each zone number (s% mixing_type(k)) in subroutine set_do_mb (rlo_routines.inc) ,then compare it with the same mixing_type in profile.data, and I find they are different, even the total zone number is also different. So I'm strange about the different, and I wonder which one is reliable.
Thank you very much again!

Sorry, guess I confused the set_do_mb subroutine with the okay_to_do_magnetic_braking parameter. Are you saying that you write out the "have_radiative_core" variable in the subroutine do_mb and it doesn't match what you see in the mixing_regions?

Jiakun, do you mean that the mixing regions turn out different if you choose do_mb = .true. or do_mb = .false.? Those are two different physical situations, and if the star interacts with the companion or not depending on the presence of magnetic braking you will get very different results. Even before they interact you could get some very minor differences, as timesteps are also controlled depending on how the orbital angular momentum evolves.
If there are differences you get right from the beggining, with every other parameter being the same, then there you would have something strange going on.
Cheers!

Hey everyone,
When to consider the magnetic braking in LMXB evolution, I write out the mixing_type in history_columns and in subroutine set_do_mb (rlo_routines.inc) respectively, and I find it have different types of mixing_type between history_columns and set_do_mb, and also the total zone number (s% nz) is different.
So why the differences ? And which one should be reliable to choose?
Thank you very much!
