Hi Ilka,

Yup.   MESA/star takes over a 1GB for all but toy cases.
And as we move to larger nets and higher spatial resolution,
the required memory will climb some more.  So 4 GB is
really the minimum required RAM.

Are you running on a machine with at least that much RAM?

Is the memory usage causing things to break?
