Dear Raphael,
Thank you for your suggestion.
About your suggestions:
1.Yes, I have checked the initial rotation.
For star with M0=1Msun,
(1) initial rotation velocity: V0=300km/s -----> surf_omega_div_omegar_crit ~ 0.7 (this means that the initial rotation is about 70% critical, not super-critical )
(2) when this problem happens, the velocity is about 325km/s and surf_omega_div_omegar_crit ~ 0.724, which is also not beyong critical velocity.
2. This problem is just found when I increase the initial rotation from 0 to higher values.
(1) for 0, 100, 200km/s, the star evlove very well.
(2) when I run with 300km/s, it happen during the star evolve (no at start).
(3) for 400km/s (this velocity is not super-critical), this unstable do NOT happen! (This need more check)
Note: I am still trying to do more test.
Best regards,
Dengkai
Dear Dengkai,
Have you checked that the initial rotation you have selected is not
super-critical (centripetal acceleration > gravity)? It might be worth
increasing the initial rotation gradually from 0 to higher values to see
if your problem occurs at all rotation rates or only above a certain
value, which might be unrealistically high.
Cheers
Raphael
