[mesa-users] time evolution of convective zone

Dear MESA Users,
I have a question about the time evolution of the stellar convective
zone. I have attached the inlist files I used to generate the model
and a plot of the conv_mx1_bot variable output in the history file.

Why does the bottom of the convective zone drop to the innermost
regions of the star at a few 10s of Myrs? A similar drop occurs for
the top of the convective zone, conv_mx1_top. At the same time, the
conv_mx2_bot/top variables undergo a large increase, similar in
magnitude to the drop for the mx1 variables.

As part of a project, I'd like to follow the convective zone's
evolution, and this strange drop makes it difficult to use the MESA
output. Any suggestions or input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian Jackson
