[mesa-users] element diffusion during core he burning phase

Ahhh ---- your old run_star_extras turns on rotation. And the smoothing from rotational mixing
is enough to make things very easy for element diffusion. Without the rotation, diffusion
has a much more difficult job, and it isn't a surprise that it takes a long time to do it.

You might check the new sdb test case in the star test_suite to get an example for comparison.
Are you runtimes much worse than you see in the sdb test? If so, compare the inlists to
see if you can find parameters to change that will improve things without compromising
the results too much.

good luck,
Bill

This happens when core he drops below ~0.90, and the model number is almost 1599. I have also attached a restart photo.
