[mesa-users] element diffusion during core he burning phase

Dear all,
This is a going to be a feedback. With version 4930 + mesasdk on Lion 10.7, I faced a difficulty during the runtime.

When the 5 Msun star (inlist is attached) reaches the core He burning phase, the progress in the step number on the terminal goes very slow. I mention that lg_dt_yr is reasonably large. This happens when core he drops below ~0.90, and the model number is almost 1599. I have also attached a restart photo.

Commenting out some lines of the inlist, I finally found the guy in charge:
         do_element_diffusion = .true. 
without diffusion, the run progresses as fast as before.
I wonder if the result would be the same on different platforms.

I though that the captain of the ship and the rest of the crew might be interested!
