[mesa-users] a model that just stops running without warning

Hi everyone,
I was running a 50 Msun model with the default boundary conditions
(simple_photosphere) and it ran all the way to completion (using a stopping
criterion of a central temperature limit) without a problem. When I tried
running it with a different boundary condition (photosphere_tables), it
initially converges and starts running fine but just stops in the middle of
the run with no error messages. The terminal output doesn't say that the
run was stopping due to a convergence issue or that the model finished
running (in fact, the central temperature does not reach the stopping
limit). I don't see why changing the boundary condition should lead to this
problem since if there's a problem with photosphere_tables, it should just
fall back onto the simple_photosphere BC by default
(which_atm_off_table_option).
I've tried running the model with
report_hydro_solver_progress = .true. ! set true to see info about newton
> iterations
> report_ierr = .true.
and without these controls on, the model runs for ~5 minutes before
stopping whereas with these turned on, it stops after about a minute. I've
attached the last ~100 lines or so of the terminal output.
Has anybody else experienced this sort of problem or have any idea what is
going on?
