[mesa-users] semi-convection and the red bump

In the revised theory, semi-convection may not need to be "put in", but may
arise as a consequence of the treatment of boundary conditions. If so, the
theory will have much less "wiggle room", so I am trying to nail the
physics before extensive testing. That will result in predictions, which
may be wrong but will be an honest assessment of systematic uncertainty in
the theory. You are right; the red bump is an interesting test. Eliminating
free parameters is a hard business ;-(
