[mesa-users] Semi-convection

Our discussion indicates a feature that makes me uneasy: bright,
knowledgeable people have qualitatively different intuitive ideas about the
topic. We can proceed as Tuguldur has done, and make numerical comparisons.
We will find differences, but which are correct? We probably need to write
down some equations to make sure we are proceeding from the same
foundation. Do we use MLT, the hydro equations, or a diffusion model? Which
is better? Conny has suggested that asteroseismology will be a guide. I
think this is right, and consistency checking of the internal assumptions
would also help. Maybe a mini-workshop is in order?
