[mesa-users] Installation Problems on 32bit Machines using MESA SDK

Hello all,

I've run into a problem installing MESA that I've noticed a few people
have already mentioned on this list. While building the net package,
the installer prints out a bunch of numbers (temperature, pressure,
etc) interspersed with "eval_net failed".

For example:

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=682275bffe8ccdb0717839c4821b610b%40alunos.fc.up.pt&forum_name=mesa-users

and

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=20120924124106.10C0C46EE5D%40webmail.sinamail.sina.com.cn&forum_name=mesa-users

My output is identical, so I don't see any sense in reposting a massive log.

However, I am trying to install MESA as part of a class, and so far
the only people who've successfully run ./install have had 64 bit
machines, and only people with 32 bit machines have gotten stuck with
the eval_net failed problem. We are all using the MESA SDK, and so I
posit that there might be something wrong with the latest 32 bit MESA
SDK packages.

Here is my system information (requested on the MESA SDK website):
$ uname -a
Linux 2.6.32-279.el6.i686 #1 SMP Wed Jun 13 18:23:32 EDT 2012 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
$ gfortran --version
GNU Fortran (GCC) 4.7.2 20120808 (prerelease)
$ echo $MESASDK_ROOT
/home/../mesasdk
$ echo $PATH
/home/../mesasdk/bin:/usr/lib/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/etc:.

I hope this helps,
Michael Eastwood
