I tried out the 64-bit version but ran into an error I didn't encounter
in the last release. I am running Ubuntu 11.04. After ./clean and
./install I see:
checking if ndiff is installed ...
yes!
/home/keatonb/mesa/const
building const package.
gfortran -fno-range-check -fopenmp -I../public -I../private
-I../../include -Wunused-value -Werror -W -fimplicit-none -O2 -c
-ffixed-form -ffixed-line-length-132 ../public/const_def.f
/opt/mesasdk/bin/gfortran.exec: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6:
version `GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by
/opt/mesasdk/bin/gfortran.exec)
make: *** [const_def.o] Error 1
/home/keatonb/mesa/const/make

/home/keatonb/mesa/const
./build_and_test FAILED
This looks reminiscent of a problem acknowledged in the MESA SDK FAQ for
Red Hat, with the vague solution that " This problem should have been
fixed..."
Any clue what's causing this and what I can do to get the install going
strong again?
Best,
Keaton
