Hi all


I have a query. How does mesa takes care of the mass loss, once I specify a particle moss loss scheme. 

I mean what is the algorithm for doing this. And does it assign any velocities to the lost mass, or it simply
deducts that from the star mass. If it assigns velocities then what is the algorithm for that, is it hydrodynamical or 

formula substitution or simply the escape velocity.
