[mesa-users] Installing MESA

Here's a command I found concerning PATH in my .profile:

# set PATH so it includes user's private bin if it exists
if [ -d "$HOME/bin" ] ; then
    PATH="$HOME/bin:$PATH"
fi

And here's the output to that source command:

jared at ubuntu:~/mesa$ source $MESASDK_ROOT/bin/mesasdk_init.sh
bash: /opt/mesasdk/bin/mesasdk_init.sh: Permission denied

I've had a hunch that permissions were at the source of my problems, but I
still don't understand why it's keeping me out.
