[mesa-users] advice for massaging a model

Hi Guy,

In some cases with pre-main sequence models, you can get around the problem 
by waiting until a bit later in the evolution before making the changes.
For example, don't change the element mix until the star has dropped well
down the Hayashi track -- check to see where it first develops a radiative core,
and then save a model a few 10's of steps before that when it is still fully
convective.   Then with that saved model, start a new run and change the
element mix at that point.  Since the star will still be fully convective, the
changes to the composition will get mixed in okay.  And since you won't have
started any burning, that will be okay too.   Since most of the pre-ms contraction
is over, you will avoid some of the convergence issues that go along with that.
