[mesa-users] unable to open isotopes.data

Hi all,
I have just installed MESA and the appetizer works successfully :) However,
I have a problem making my copy of mesa star by running the 'rn' script in a
work folder.  I made a copy of the work directory and renamed it. Then I
edited the make/makefile to set MESA_DIR, and edited the &star_job section
of the inlist_project file. I've made the work version of star by executing
the 'mk' script, which went well. However, when I run the 'rn' script, it
reports:

 unable to open ../../data/chem_data/isotopes.data
 failed in stardata_init
 star_init ierr          29
WARNING: failed in chem_init
 init_and_alloc ierr          29
WARNING: failed in chem_init

I tried to open isotopes.data myself using emacs and it works well. I don't
know how to fix this. I am using ifort 12.0.2.
