Hi Eric,

I ran a 7 Msun case last night to check what I get.
This morning I found that it had stopped after 12272 steps.
Winds had reduced the mass from 7.0 to 2.73 at that time
and there had been several pulses as you see here.

However at the time it stopped, the value for v_div_csound_surf was -0.143E+06.
That is a bit too fast for hydrostatics!
Looking back in the history a bit, I found that before the infall,
there was a period with extremely large outward velocities.
Look's like it was trying to blow off the envelope in a supersonic wind.

I'll play around with it a bit more to see what happens if we turn on velocity
variables and enable the supersonic wind option.

Cheers,
Bill

p.s. here's the inlist I used. you might want to compare it to yours.
